About Richard

Richard Knox, the owner of Knox Photography, acquired his basic photographic skills while enlisted in the US Air Force. During his 4 year enlistment he learned the most important fundamentals of modern photography. Upon leaving the Air Force he became a freelance photographer for a studio in Southern California. While there he developed his own creative style photographing weddings and other special events. 

Richard enjoys the challenge of working with people to make their special event different and unique. All those special memories will be captured by the use of digital photography. He made the switch over a few years ago realizing that the future of photography was in the computer chip. His years of experience in film photography made the transition over to the digital format relatively easy. 

This new, state of the art technology in photography affords him the flexibility and diversity that every professional photographer strives for; eliminating the hassle and long waiting periods at professional photo labs. With this new photo medium, none of your precious moments will ever degrade or be lost. 

Richard Knox is currently a member of WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers Int.) and PPA (Professional Photographers of America.)
